The late 1990’s were what happened to define video gaming genres. It was a period of exploration and experimentation, and during this period, games like Half Life, Deus Ex, System Shock, Starcraft and Fallout have set the mold for each genre of video game you see today. An anomaly at the time was Homeworld, which has now become one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time.
