Subway has been offering “Sub of the Day” for quite some time. From Monday to Friday, there will be a different sub on the menu. I had a go on Thursday. It seems that Thursday is the best day to grab your “Sub of the Day” as you will get to enjoy turkey breast and ham as the main ingredient! It comes with various selection of toppings to enrich the experience. Regardless of the toppings, a generous piece of grass jelly (cincau) would be served. As for the topping, the “pearl, red bean and taro” is recommended. The “pearls” are made from tapioca flour. If you are still wondering what “taro” is, it is yam.

In need of some quick, delicious and affordable Japanese style food? What used to be known as Sushi Groove underwent a transformation not many moons ago. While Sushi Groove themselves were quite good, we went back to see if everything held up to the previous reputation they held! They currently have a lunch promotion where any of the rice or noodle dishes is complemented by a free flow of green tea and a choice of either miso soup or chawanmushi.
