Yogurberry Frozen Yogurt
Posted by Christopher
The frozen yogurt craze is in the air! Yogurberry, as the name suggests, is the combination of two words. Yogurt and berry. The chain was first formed in Korea and subsequently penetrated the market in other countries such as the US, China and Malaysia. If the youngsters knew that Yogurberry originated Korea, I’m pretty sure the outlets will be packed with K-fans. J-fans can take a hike.
Yogurberry claims that their frozen yogurts are delicious and healthy – delicious yes, but not too sure on the health side. Besides serving only frozen yogurt, Yogurberry serves various beverages and snacks too. If you’re thinking of having a complete meal at Yogurberry, you’re wrong! It is just a joint for your snacking needs!
The pictures on the menu looks great but don’t be deceived, they are only for illustration purposes (as always). Just look at the picture above and compare it with what you see in the menu. Was a little disappointed when I saw the real deal. Has inflation been that bad until food servings have shrunk pathetically?
To put Yogurberry’s trademark to the test, I had the triple scoop with 2 toppings – kiwi and chocolate chip. Why the combination? It was an hour before their closing time and the rest of the toppings were not available at that moment. So, if you plan to drop by Yogurberry the next time, do drop by sometime in the day!
The frozen yogurt was great. The kiwi and chocolate chip toppings were fine too. Enjoyed the frozen yogurt to the last bit. The damage? I forgot how much I paid for it but it should be about RM 20. Again, it is not something you would be eating everyday (unless you’re printing money).
I give it a 3/5.
