The Soya Ice Series (I think the “series” came from the fact that you can choose from a variety of toppings) is a delicious dessert made from ice shavings of soya bean (soybean for US) milk. It comes with various selection of toppings to enrich the experience. Regardless of the toppings, a generous piece of grass jelly (cincau) would be served. As for the topping, the “pearl, red bean and taro” is recommended. The “pearls” are made from tapioca flour. If you are still wondering what “taro” is, it is yam.

Today’s Total Solar Eclipse will be seen to occur in Shanghai (the best viewpoint) from 8.25 am, and the there will be a total eclipse for a duration of 6 minutes and 47 seconds. Hence, this Total Solar Eclipse is named the Eclipse of the Century.
