Smoked Salmon with a TwistTraditional cream sauce with smoked salmon and fresh Thai asparagus

If you’re stuck in Kuala Lumpur or specifically the upmarket Pavilion shopping mall because of the jam, give The Loaf a try! The Loaf is a baking concept operating in Malaysia but based upon traditional Japanese techniques. They produce delicious premium breads and pastries with the finest imported and local ingredients. Other than that, they also serve meals for dine-ins.

For lunch, the Smoked Salmon with a Twist is a fine choice. The pasta comes with a piece of garlic bread to give your appetite a boost! The bread is well done and tastes good as well. Shall we suggest the management to have two pieces instead of one? Maybe not. Let’s have more pasta and smoked salmon instead!

The pasta and the smoked salmon comes with cream sauce which is a fine mix. The pasta and the salmon are good. However, towards the end of the meal, it gets salty. Maybe it is the sauce or just the pace at which you consume the food. Oh, just make sure to have a glass of water with you in case it gets really salty.

For RM28 per plate, I reckon that the price is a little over the top but considering the location and the atmosphere, the price is okay. Definitely a once in a while meal unless you are printing money.

I give it a 3/5.

Did the pasta and the cream sauce blend well? Occasionally, some restaurants’ pasta dishes taste like pasta noodles and the cream sauce.
It’s like as though the pasta did not absorb the sauce, but just tasting like plastic served with sauce. If you get what I mean XD

Genez, the pasta and the sauce blended well. No plastic taste to it.
