Cucumber & Passionfruit Mojito – supposedly refreshing

If you’re the adventurous kind and want to try something bizarre that is non alcoholic, why not give the Cucumber & Passionfruit Mojito a try?

I had my first glass of the Cucumber & Passionfruit Mojito at the Ole-Ole Bali, Sunway Pyramid. I am not too sure whether there are any other restaurants / food outlets that serve this delicacy. From my observation and taste, cucumber juice is not blended into the passion fruit juice but pieces of it are mixed together with the juice instead. Besides the cucumbers and passion fruit juice, mint leaves and chili are served together as garnish. I’m not too sure whether they accentuate the flavours but the chili sure is spicy! Besides that, you get a 1/4 of a cucumber to help you with stirring the drink!

The Cucumber & Passionfruit Mojito lacks nothing in terms of taste in my opinion. It is sweet and sour at the same time. Oh, don’t forget the hint of spiciness due to the chili! The drink is great but drinking a lot of it at one go makes one sick of it. I’m not sure whether this applies to other people though. Oh, remember to finish the 1/4 of the cucumber! Don’t put it to waste!

A cup costs you RM 11 before tax. If you are a little tight on budget perhaps you should skip this one.

I give the Cucumber & Passionfruit Mojito a 3/5.
