A slice of Secret Recipe’s Yogurt Cheese Cake.

Berries, Cheese, and plenty of Yogurt, anyone? Have you ever treated yourself to something cheesy, sweet and a little sour at the same time? That was exactly what I did at Secret Recipe a few days ago. We intended to do a review on their Durian Cheese cake but too bad it was out of stock. So we each had to order something else. For my first cake review, I picked the Yogurt Cheese Cake.

The Yogurt Cheese cake was fairly good I would say. It was just like any other cheese cake except that it had raspberry fruit filling as its topping and a signature layer of yogurt underneath the topping. It tasted fruity and good (not too sweet, just nice) at my first bite but as I went on, it felt weird. I mean the taste.

I am quite sure it was the layer of yogurt. It would probably taste better if they weren’t so generous with the yogurt. Plus, the yogurt taste overshadowed everything else the cake had to offer.  It was still not bad though. I’ll go with 7.5/10 for the rating.

Why don’t you guys try it out and tell us what you think? Cheers!
