Island Tangy Prawn

In accordance with The Manhattan Fish Market being awarded the Best Fish of the Year Award, the Island Tangy Prawn was introduced to its list of offerings. As its name suggests, this dish is made using spicy, tangy sauce to accompany the prawns. The crispy texture of the prawns, together with its spectacular tangy flavour, made every bite of it memorable. Worry not people, for its crispiness was not made by deep-frying the prawns, but by coating the prawns with albumen (egg white) prior to having it lightly stir-fried. Complimenting the proteins were a bed of coleslaw embedded under the prawns.

This dish was superliciously satisfying! It was a RM 15.90++ well spent for the food indeed!

PS: If you’re a Klang Valley-an and you do intend to try this dish out, be warned to stay away from the Sunway Pyramid branch as all you’ll end up with is frustration over their mal-serviceability. I’ve personally had good experience dining at the Subang Parade, Ikano Power Centre and Midvalley Megamall branches. X
